Accessibility statement

We make stores usable for every shopper, so our own site has to be usable too. This page explains what we did and how to tell us if something doesn’t work for you.
Our goal
This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
What we did
- Built the site with plain HTML and CSS, with real headings, landmarks, lists and tables. A small script runs the free store check; everything else works without it.
- No pop-ups, no auto-playing media, no cookie banner and no tracking scripts.
- Gentle animations that switch off when your device is set to reduce motion.
- The free store check announces its progress and results to screen readers and moves focus to the results.
- A “Skip to main content” link at the top of every page.
- A clearly visible outline on whatever has keyboard focus.
- Text and button colors chosen to meet WCAG contrast ratios, in both light and dark mode.
- Support for Windows High Contrast mode and the “reduce motion” setting.
- Fonts served from our own site, with readable fallbacks if they don’t load.
How we tested it
- Used every page with a keyboard only.
- Checked it with automated tools (axe-core rules through Google Lighthouse).
- Checked it on a narrow phone-sized screen and with large text.
- Measured the contrast of every text and background color pair.
Known problems
We don’t know of any right now. If you find one, please tell us.
